We are an ANWG-affiliated guild located in the north Puget Sound of Washington State. The purpose of the Guild is to promote the exchange of ideas and educate our membership and the public in a wide range of Fiber Arts through workshops, study groups, guest speakers, participation in the San Juan County Fair, the annual Sheep-to-Shawl event, textile shows, and demonstrations.
Our guild includes members with all levels of expertise, from beginners to professionals, and we all learn from each other as well as from nationally renowned teachers, designers and fiber artists.
Our members live on five islands of the San Juans: Lopez, Orcas, San Juan, Shaw and Waldron. We share a common interest in a wide variety of textile and fiber arts including basketry, beading, crocheting, dyeing, felting, knitting, rug hooking, spinning & weaving, quilting and many others. If it involves fiber arts, chances are someone in the guild does it.
If you need some help with a project or are interested in learning a fiber art, come join us and make new friends, learn a new skill and have some fun!
