Launched in 2014, Orcas Island Distillery is a small craft distillery located in Washington State's San Juan Islands. We are on a mission to resurrect delightful spirits whose flavors have almost disappeared from the American palate.
Our Pear and Apple Brandies are made from fruit hand-picked in the heirloom orchards of our islands. These heirloom varietals offer a unique opportunity to create delicious fruit brandies with a subtlety of flavor that cannot be duplicated.
Farmers in the Skagit Valley grow the organic grains that form the basis of our Single Malt Whiskey and Genever Gins. The barley is painstakingly malted, fermented and then distilled in very small batches in our potstills. Our aged spirits begin in new American oak and are finished in rye whiskey or cognac barrels.
We have been honored by the American Distilling Institute’s Judging of Craft Spirits since our first releases in 2016.
