Join island photographer Robert Dash to learn about his complex and fascinating images that tell the story of agriculture’s challenges and potential. Many of his works feature plants and foods grown here in the San Juans. Free event. These works are featured in National Geographic and internal exhibitions on sustainability.
As seen from under a powerful electron microscope, the minute images are then incorporated in larger visual works that tell the story of his book Food Planet Future. Dash notes “these images symbolize both the abundance and the threat that humanity has brought to the dinner table.”
Book talk and signing begins at 7:00pm with reception to follow.
