The Makers Guild hosts opportunities for Networking, Learning, Capacity Building, Marketing, Purchasing, Special Events and Grant Support to foster a thriving Maker Community
Maker Members
in San Juan County
There is currently a free open membership period for Professional, Organization and DIY Maker Members and that begins with creating an account in the Members Hub for San Juan County residents.
Maker Donors: Donations from our Maker Members help develop new Community resources and programs. Volunteerism is also welcome, email sjmg@sanjuanmakersguild.com.
For Maker Member donations as a Friend of the Makers Guild, suggested contributions begin at $50 with options for any level or monthly recurring.
Learner Donations
Curious about developing Maker skills?
Join us for online and live DIY learning explorations. The Guild welcomes learners from any location to participate in classes, workshops, tours, events, and purchasing to enrich your life, hone Do it Yourself skills, and support San Juan Islands Makers.
Learner Donors: Individual and Family Donors can become Friends of the Makers Guild to lend additional support – and gain advance invitations to activities and events. Volunteering also welcome.
Suggested contributions are: Individual Member $25/year, Family Members $50/year, or make a recurring Friends of the Makers Guild donation.

Sponsors and Donors
Friends of the Makers Guild donations bring exciting Guest Makers to the Islands to teach, exhibit or perform and can support events that connect Island Makers to a larger audience. The Guild’s professional development training for small maker businesses also benefits from targeted sponsorships.
Business Sponsors and Donors: Corporate, private and business sponsors are welcomed as Friends of the Makers Guild. To discuss targeted donations, recurring contributions, special events and sponsorship packages, contact sjmg@sanjuanmakersguild
Suggested Business Member donation is $100 – $500 annually depending on business size.
Donations to the Makers Guild are voluntary contributions.
