Welcome to Joy Everly Arts!
I give my life to the study of transformation through relationship and art. As an alchemist, I tap into source energy and spin transmutation and manifestation power into my artwork. For example, if you want to manifest love, think about purchasing the Devotion print and watch love roll into your life. If you want to manifest a baby, try the Star Dancer Print. If you are intent on Self Mastery, you guessed it, hang the Self Mastery Image in your home as a graphic mantra affirmation to guide yourself toward your intention. You too are a powerful creator. My art is here to support you in that. I can most often be found creating art and/or writing while nestled in the woods of Orcas Island. I like to play with many different art mediums (painting, drawing, sewing and crafting jewelry) in service of transforming the collective wound. In this landscape of expansion we call earth, trauma is as much a part of our growth as any joy or fulfillment. Channeling my soul’s art is how I navigate a path through the given trauma of life and plant seeds of acceptance and evolution. I honor the reservoir of creative waters that lies within each and every one of us.In quiet gestation, it holds the power of our ascension. I am in service of humanities spiritual expansion through my unique personal expression. It manifests in my art, my connection with nature and all sentient beings everywhere.
Love Ammo Jewelry is created from repurposed bullet casings and the stones of the Earth. Working with the elements of the earth’s loving stones combined with the symbol of violence that a bullet shell holds, represents the application of salve to the collective wound. Casting love and light into the darkness is the only way to transcend it. Love Ammo jewelry is an emblem of the curative potential in shining light and love onto our shadow places. Each pair of earrings and each pendant is handcrafted with love from the stones of the earth as well as the love from my two hands.
I grew up all around the pacific Northwest, boating in the San Juan Islands and backpacking in the cascades. I landed on Orcas for my last two years of highschool and stayed for the five years following until I moved to Portland Oregon to go to Midwifery School. After practicing there as a licensed midwife for eight years, I bought a sailboat, sailed her back home through the Strait of Juan De Fuca where I met the love of my life in 2017. We now live peacefully in the woods of Orcas with my/our son who is in middle school and our three cats.
I have two unique and incredible sons for whose existence I am blessed beyond measure. And I recently became a grandmother! I This earth is sacred and I am in reverence of all of nature's manifestations; birds, owls, the night sky, sunshine, all the animals, the ocean, river, clouds, wind, rain, snow, sunshine, mountains, desert, forest, plains.
