Artist and island resident, Janet Gadallah, opened Creative Minds Art Gallery on July 1, 2018 in the heart of Eastsound on Orcas Island, Washington. Below glittering night skies in the northwest corner of Washington state, Creative Minds debuts as the first new artist cooperative in the San Juan Islands in years. Creative Minds provides a gathering place for all.

Creative Minds showcases art that with a skip, jump or twist redefines creativity and functionality, so they can coexist hand in hand. As a result something common becomes special, whether it be a mirror, a table, a quilt, a bowl, a painting with which you interact everyday. Creative Minds artists believe in the importance of living amidst art and interacting with it. It is your interaction with a piece that completes it, giving it new life and appreciation.
