Get Your FOLK ON! Come to the Salish Sea Folk Arts Fest on Orcas Island – Registration is OPEN! Saturday pass includes a full day of music, folk dancing, kids camp, and a Makers Fair. Plus add-on Fri and Sat workshops in drum making, cedar basket making, wood carving, blacksmithing, voice and music, spinning, weaving, eco-poetry writing, contra dance and more.
On Orcas Island at the historic Moran State Park, May 17-18. Come play! Learn, dance, sing, and celebrate PNW Folk Arts.
Join the Orcas Island Community at the Earth Day Celebration with playful learning experiences for all ages featuring art, music, science and poetry on the Eastsound Waterfront, Saturday afternoon, April 20th.
The two-day event opens with a wonderful eco-poetry reading on Friday evening on the 19th. Procession of the Species promenade is Saturday morning and reaches the waterfront festival at noon.
