Island Hoppin' Brewery

Passionate about working with quality grains and local ingredients, we put intention into each and every batch of beer. In late summer, we drive our van to the local farms here in Washington where the hops grow and buy them freshly harvested right from the hands of the farmers.

We love to make beer that people love. From Seasonal Lagers to the Fresh Hopped Ales to the Barrel Aged Sours; we will have something for every beer drinker.

Started from a few carboys in our garage, we (Nate and Becca Schons) are the master brewer and mind behind IHB. With the help of our business partner at the time, Jim Parker, the 3 of us launched the very 1st brewhaus on Orcas Island in Washington State’s San Juan Islands.
