Orcas Makers Visioning Circle 11/13

Creative and Curious? Makers Visioning Circle

Sunday afternoon, Nov 13th at Orcas Center

Cultural and artisan manufacturing creatives are an important part of the Orcas community. What helps foster this creativity and encourages enriching opportunities for Makers and their supporters?

Founded on Orcas, the Makers Guild includes visual artists, artisans in all mediums, food growers and makers, performers, designers and builders, and product manufacturers as valuable contributors to our special island lifestyle. As a community-based collaborative organization, Makers in all fields are invited to join a visioning circle to share their ideas for the future of creative programs and enterprises on Orcas.

If you dream something into being – and make it happen – the Makers Guild encourages your input for 2023 events, workshops, festivals and exhibits on Orcas.

What do you need help with? What would you like to participate in? Who would you like to learn from? Would you enjoy teaching? How can a Makers Guild best help meet your needs? Join us in exploring generative ideas for our creative community at the first Makers Visioning Circle.

Let’s dream together towards building a vibrant creative makers community and economy.

Reserve a Seat: Professional makers, passion-driven artists, and DIY makers are all invited to attend the community circle conversation on Sunday afternoon, November 13th in the Madrona Room at the Orcas Center.

Share your Voice: All cultural and artisan manufacturing creatives are invited to share their needs and interests in a short 3 minute survey.

Visit the Makers guild platform here, anytime. Accounts and directory listings in the Makers Hub are free for all Orcas Makers. If you have questions, please email support@sanjunamakersguild.com
