Makers Guild Participant and Project Partner
Historic building in Friday Harbor on San Juan is a popular venue for festivals, the farmers' market, meetings, weddings and gathering. Houses the Ag Guild office and a Community Kithen Maker Space.
Launched in 2020 after years of planning, this tri-island food distribution service aggregates, ships, and distributes food for home and commercial buyers. Order online for once a week deliveries.
Farmers and harvesters across the county are featured in Island Grown as a focal point for local produce, dairy, meat, eggs and fish producers.
Linking start-up farmers with land, water and resources to build a successful food rpoduction enterprise, Farmers to Farmland reaches out nationwide to attract the next generation of farmers to the San Juans.
The Ag Guild welcomes all eaters! If you support local food production and enjoy lively gatherings, watch the Ag Guild for seasonal festivals, onlien auctions, and farm to fork dinners that raisefunds for worthy programs.
The adage "No Farms, No Food" has very direct meaning in the San Juans where the once self sustaining island life has become largely dependent on imported food. The FARM Fund was created to help stengthen local food production. The Fund supports local farms to increase local food production and promote food security and self reliance. Hosted by the Ag Guild.
Extension office for San Juan County provides Farmer, Consumer, 4-H Youth, Ag Research, Master Gardener and Food Preservation activities that promote local food access.

The mission of the Grange is to support a resilient community of growers, makers, and keepers, to foster social and political engagement, and to maintain our Hall as a home for celebrations and programs.
Current goal is to refurbish the kitchen to serve as a permitted commercial kitchen.
