Community Makery - Saturday, November 26th, Orcas Center

A fun new Holiday Makery Pop-up is offering hands-on, make-it-yourself classes in the Madrona Room at Orcas Center from 11-3:30.

 

Instructors Maria Bullock, Susie Shipman, Tenar Hall, Marcy Montgomery, and Tabitha Rose are hosting candle, ornament, wreath, card and wooden 3D tree making using natural materials gathered on island, from the U.S. and Europe.

 

Classes are by advance reservation to secure the materials kit.

 

Storytelling and youth activities are being convened by Caleb Summers and friends, 11-2, free to all youth with parents attending a workshop.

 

The afternoon culminates with a festive Tamale making class for all ages. 917 Mt Baker Rd, Eastsound.
